Anna Silk
Anna Silk is Canadian actress and has gained fame in Canada by her character in the film Bo. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director. She also teaches drama on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna can recall some of her earliest memories of existence, such as taking part in rehearsals of stage plays. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for children. In 1997, she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was able to move out of Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles during the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actorsworkshop held in Los Angeles. The couple got engaged in 2009, and then married in an unofficial ceremony in took place in December. After she had converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk gave birth to a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans her good announcement that she became pregnant while filming the final episode of season 3 in an exclusive pre-show for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase in an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the show's premiere. Silk revealed via Twitter, on June 20, 2013 that production had begun on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed that production had begun for Season 4, which will air in the fourth season. The character she played Bo and Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite Television Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top TV Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk has a huge online fan base on Facebook and Twitter as a direct result of its success.
