Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on June 15th, 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. Her name can also be stylized in the form of AURORA. Half the World Away - by Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two notable covers that she has recorded. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry announced her new song Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering an instrument hidden in her attic, and becoming fascinated with the sounds it produced. The parents of her May-Britt family and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as a career or hobby but for growth. In the end, she began writing her own music. Bjork as well as Leonard Cohen are among her most favored writers. After her mother said that the songs she wrote were not meant to make her famous rather to help people to realize their own value and impact on our world at large, she started singing them in public. At age 6 she started playing the piano. At age nine, she was writing music. She didn't tell her family about it until she turned fourteen. Aurora's fame was not her goal. The singer says that she simply likes creating songs. According to her, she believes that music can help people feel more relaxed.
